Job Title :	Family Psycho educational and Advocacy Specialist
Department:	Therapeutic Intervention Program (TIP).
# of Positions:	1
Hours:	M-F, 20 hours-variable
Education:	High school diploma and a complete understanding of mental illness. Previous work experience in the mental health field is highly desired. A valid driver’s license, good driving record and automobile insurance is required NAMI affiliation preferred. Must have a personal experience with mental health issues
Summary:	The specialist in this position will work in partnership with families using an Evidenced Based Practice by SAMHSA assisting and linking them to the Therapeutic Intervention Program (TIP) treatment team and empowering them with knowledge regarding the complexities of mental illness.
